Terra Australis Incognito - that is how the very first sailors and discoverers called this mystic landscape on the uttermost part of the world. And still it exudes its fabulous atmosphere and the unknown of these times… - just one reason why this secluded area is so incredibly attractive to the real adventurers. Our fantastic expedition takes us to two of the most extraordinary places on this planet that amaze even experienced trekkers.

First, we are heading for the famous "W" - Hike in the Torres del Paine National Park to reach the vast Southern Patagonian Ice field. After this awesome experience we spend unforgettable days in the wild interior of Navarino Island on the mythic Tierra del Fuego. During our various mountain- and trekking tours we will camp next to subantarctic rainforests, snowcapped mountains and turquoise green lagoons. Moreover, the ascent of a mountain on the edge of the spectacular Patagonian Ice field will be another highlight of this exciting tour.

Because of extreme weather conditions, avalanche danger or extraordinary circumstances out of our control (war, upheavals, epidemics etc.) a tour might be impaired, endangered or impossible to complete. Therefore, the given description of the tour is regarded as a flexible guideline. Whatsoever, it is our first intention to realize the program as planned. Team spirit, tolerance and compromising towards the guide and other participants are very significant elements of a successful expedition. Participants take part in these tours under their own risk and responsibility.

Remark

You always pack your backpack for three to four days only. On day 6 our supplies vehicle will have reached us and the two trekking tours through Pingo Valley/Cerro Sin Nombre and Isla Navarino do not last longer than three days.   

Very good physical fitness, team spirit and abdication of comfort are necessary requirements for this tour.  Moreover, you should be able to walk long distances (6 to 9 hours a day) on unprepared trails with an elevation of 200 -1,300m carrying your own heavy backpack of 50-70l. We are spending our nights in 2-person tents and wish for support with all camp activities.

It is offered expedition tents and camping mat as well as all kitchen needs are provided. The equipment for your belongings throughout the day as well as your tent, camping mat and sleeping bag have to be carried by yourself.
