Here you find important information on Isla Navarino – Tierra del Fuego! The island Isla Navarino is one of the many islands of Tierra del Fuego and is situated directly at the Beagel Channel. Its population – about 2,200 people live here - is concentrated primarily in the communal capital Puerto Williams - the southernmost commune in Chile and the world. When strolling through this pristine fishing-village you are indeed under the impression of being at the end of the world. Only half of the people, who live on the island stay for the long cold winter; they make their income from catching and selling the extremely expensive Centolla (type of king crab). Isla Navarino, caught by the spell of many myths, is inviting adventurers and trekkers to explore its incredible landscape by foot.
